TWO people were arrested and a quantity of class A drugs have been seized following a morning raid in Droitwich this morning.
Almost 20 officers, including some from the elite Task Force squad, carried out the raid in Farriers Corner on the Westlands estate at 7.30am.
Because a quick entry was needed both the front door and the back door were chainsawed before officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out their search.
The packages were found by drugs dog Ragan who was sent in to search the premises once it had been declared safe from all the debris and broken glass.
The two who were held, a 23-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. They are currently in custody at Droitwich Police Station where they will be questioned.
The warrant, and another one which covered the suspects’ car, came as a result from information provided by the public.

* This latest operation follows a similar one carried out at Shepherds Place, also on the Westlands, last Tuesday.
Following that, a closure order has been issued on that property meaning
It means those living there and all visitors will be excluded from the home and gives the landlord the opportunity to apply to the court for a permanent eviction.
Anyone who has any information on drugs use or dealing in Droitwich should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
