A TOTAL of £350 was raised for the Ukrainian Children’s Appeal via Red Cross during an art exhibition in The Gallery at the Droitwich Library.
Artist, Hansa Norman, and historian and photographer, Paul Jones, both displayed their work to raise funds to help children in conflict.
Hansa said: “I chose the charity because when children are experiencing war, all they can remember is the shooting and people being shot in front of their eyes – it can be really damaging for them.”
Many of the artwork on display was between £10 to £15.
The remaining unsold pieces of artwork went to Primrose Hospice.
Hansa has now set up a charity exhibition celebrating the Hindu festival Diwali, which has been set up at the Droitwich Library.
