A SPLASH of creativity will be on offer this Saturday at an ArtsFest at The Hub in St Andrew’s Square.
The event, run by Droitwich Arts Network, will take place between 10am and 3.30pm and will allow people in the town to have a dabble at all forms of art.
Activities include watercolour, acrylics, knitting, weaving, origami, clay modelling and guitar tuition.
There will also be live entertainment from Guitar Duo Swing 42, Droitwich Spa Community Choir, Droitwich Ukulele Club and The White Hart Morris Dancers.
Throughout the day, artists will be painting in the windows with each one demonstrating different techniques.
As Droitwich begins its celebration of John Heminge and his role in saving William Shakespeare’s work, a quiz focused on the legendary playwright will be available to complete on the day.
The winner will be announced and the prize awarded at 2:30pm, while the successful applicants from the school holiday art competition will also be revealed.
And a poetry competition will also be launched on the day.
