AUCTIONEERS Bonhams is hosting a valuation day in Droitwich to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, writes Rebecca Perry.

The event at the Chateau Impney will take place on from 11am to 2pm on Thursday, September 20.

Confidential evaluations made by Henry Sandon and a team of Bonham experts can be made on any item, including pictures, jewellery and silver, ceramics and glass, clocks and works of art.

A donation of £2 per item or £5 for three will be encouraged as all proceeds will go to the charity.

Sarah Shirley-Priest, senior valuer at Bonhams, said: “So often, people do not know the true value of things that they own and these events can uncover some wonderful surprises.”

Michelle McCracken, Worcestershire fund-raising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Being one of the world’s largest and most renowned auctioneers, it’s a huge honour they have chosen to support us with an event like this.”
