Author Carmen to give lunch talk in Droitwich

Droitwich Editorial 28th Jun, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016

POPULAR Bromsgrove author Carmen Capuano will be talking to audiences about her work at a Ladies Luncheon in Droitwich.

Carmen, who is best known for her sci-fi series and last year wrote two young adult books and a chick-lit novel, will be at the Lord Morton’s Tearooms in Cutnall Green on August 13.

Carmen said: “The beauty of this particular event is the ability to really mingle with fans and share their delight in hearing how plot lines and creative ideas unfold.”

The writer also announced her intention to carry on with the next book in the Owners series – a selection of fictional stories about ordinary people put in extraordinary situations.

Carmen added she was also celebrating signing with publishers P’Kaboo.

“I am delighted to be working with this publisher to bring out my novel Split Decision.

“Having been self-published until now, I have always enjoyed the autonomy that this afforded me but I am relishing the fresh challenges that being with a traditional publisher will provide.”

Tickets are £14.95 and include a glass of Pimms, canapes in the garden, a main course and a dessert. There will also be a speaker.
