THE AWARD-WINNING Droitwich Spa Nursery and Kindergarten, known as ‘The Hollies’ has been taken over by Busy Bees.
The nursery, formed in November 1993, has an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating and now offers 120 places for children aged between birth and five.
It also has the prestigious ‘Millies’ Mark’ accolade which shows all of the staff there are first aid trained and accredited.
Philippa Fell, former owner of Droitwich Spa Nursery, said: “I believe we have found an ideal partner with Busy Bees.
“After 25 years of watching our nursery grow, I have no doubt that it will continue our hard work, and the setting will thrive under their guidance.
“I have every faith that the quality of care and support will remain the nursery’s biggest asset.
Marg Randles, chief academic officer and co-founder of Busy Bees said the company was pleased to welcome Droitwich Spa Nursery and Kindergarten to the Busy Bees family.
“After seeing the brilliant staff and their abilities, we are confident that this nursery is as passionate about childcare as we are.
“Our main priority is to allow children the opportunities that will give them the best start in life and these values lie at the heart of The Hollies.”
She added the firm’s strong communication links it had with parents and staff would make the transition as smooth as possible.
Busy Bees now has 361 nurseries and others in Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, China and Australia, having 50,000 children in its care across those nations.
