THE BRITISH Heart Foundation is seeking inspiring, determined and compassionate people from Droitwich for its annual Heart Hero Awards.
The accolades recognise the efforts of individuals and groups to help fight heart disease and those celebrated previously have included fund-raisers, campaigners and health professionals.
There are five award categories – Inspiration, Young Hero, Innovation Award, Influencing and Fighting Spirit.
Nominations should be sent to bhf.org.uk/heartheroes and all entries will be considered.
A shortlist will be drawn up and winners will be announced at the Heart Hero Awards at the University of Birmingham on June 29, 2016.
