Bizarrely busy day for Bromsgrove and Droitwich firefighters who rescued youth stuck in a swing and two trapped cats in the space of six hours

FIREFIGHTERS from Bromsgrove and Droitwich rescued a cat, a kitten and a youth trapped in a swing during a quriky six hours of calls yesterday.

It started at Stoney Hill Close in Norton, Bromsgrove, at 4.30pm when the teenager was stuck in the small swing. Firefighters from Bromsgrove managed to free them.

Then around 8.55pm a crew from Droitwich headed to Bruton Avenue where a four-week old kitten was stuck behind a toilet.

And then at 10.20pm, firefighters from Bromsgrove were called out to Corbett Close where a cat was stuck ten metres up a tree.
