DROITWICH SPA boys and girls football teams are ready to start the new season with a new kit, thanks to the town’s Rotary Club.
As part of the club’s drive to support the town’s youth, the organisation donated £500 to pay for a new kit for the junior football teams who are aged between five and seven.
The football club was founded in 1979 and is now in its 35th year.
Last season it ran 29 squads, containing 390 boys and girls whose ages ranged from five to 18.
