Bringing a sound music scene to Droitwich - The Live Room at The Old Cock

Droitwich Editorial 29th Jan, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

A SERIES of live music concerts has been launched at Droitwich’s Old Cock Inn.

The first of The Live Room sessions took place last month when local favourites Skabucks played to an audience of more than 400.

Next up at the Friar Street venue is the Executives who will be putting on an evening of great live cover music tomorrow (Saturday).

Next weekend sees two acts take to The Live Room – rock cover band Devoted to Rock next Friday (February 5) and three-piece cover band Cosmic Goldfish next Saturday (February 6).

Admission to the majority of events is free and the shows mostly run from 9pm to 11.30pm.

The Live Room is the brainchild of landlords Graham Leonard and Stuart Wilcox and over the next few months there will be a mix of ska, jazz, folk, rock, pop, drag, metal, funk, acoustic, ukulele, choir, comedy and burlesque.
