Bromsgrove and Droitwich artists urged to take a 'Flight of Fancy' and enter art contest

TIME is running out for artists wanting to enter the ‘Flights of Fancy’ competition at the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury, writes Mia Townsend.

The closing date for entries in Wednesday, August 8.

Artists of all ages and abilities can partake in a variety of mediums, ranging from painting and drawing to photography and media sculpture.

A trophy is up for grabs as well as a meal for two at the Jinney Ring Farmhouse Restaurant and pottery sessions with the Jinney Ring Potters. All short-listed work will be showcased within the Jinney Ring.




Jinney Ring owner Amanda Sunter said: “This is an exclusive art competition – the sky really is the limit.”

Entry will be £7.50 for adults and £4 for children with all of the cash going to The Basement Project in Bromsgrove which helps young people who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
