BUDDING archaeologists are being invited to solve the mystery of a Dark Ages Saxon burial at a special half term event at The Hive in Worcester.
Youngsters will be challenged to work out who was buried at the site more than 1,000 years ago and why.
The sessions will allow children uncover the mystery of the burial, and to follow in the footsteps of the Anglo Saxons by making a clay amulet to take home.
There will be three sessions throughout the day during half term on Wednesday October 30, each lasting 45 minutes.
Experts from Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service will be on hand to guide and share their experience.
The sessions cost £3 per child and they’re suitable for ages 7+ and booking is required via www.thehiveworcester.org or call 01905 766352.
