THIEVES escaped empty-handed after trying to burgle a builders’ merchants in Kidderminster Road, Droitwich.
The incident happened between 5.05pm and 8.20pm on Tuesday (April 12).
The intruder was disturbed by the police when officers turned up and he climbed through the roof to make his escape.
In doing so he damaged the tiles and ceiling.
