EXPERT chocolatiers from Cadbury World in South Birmingham have created a spectacular solid chocolate rocking horse to mark the arrival of the royal baby.

It was created ahead of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, giving birth to a baby boy who weighed 8lb 7oz.

The horse is crafted from the equivalent of 667 standard bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk, the latest creation from the talented team weighs in at around 30kg and stands at 2ft high.

The rocking horse was completely hand sculpted by talented chocolatiers, Dawn Jenks and Donna Oluban, over the course of just two days.

The creation is made of solid milk chocolate, with a white chocolate mane and tail, and milk chocolate saddle and straps complete with gold lustre stirrups. The design also features a red chocolate bridle, green chocolate saddle blanket, and wood effect supports and runners.

The Cadbury World chocolatiers have now produced three chocolatey creations to mark the birth of new members of the royal family, including a chocolate pram for Princess Charlotte and a chocolate cot complete with a range of toys for the birth of Prince George.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World said; “Once again, our team of extremely talented chocolatiers have crafted a magnificent royal creation fit for a king or queen. We can’t wait for visitors to see the intricate details up close here at Cadbury World.”
