THIS WEEK’S carriageway closures on the M5 and M42 are as follows.
The M5 southbound carriageway will be shut between 8pm tonight (Monday) and 6am tomorrow (Tuesday) from Junction 4a (Bromsgrove) to Junction 5 (Droitwich).
Then from tonight (Monday) until Friday (March 17) there will be overnight closures of the northbound carriageway between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 4a (Bromsgrove). That will also be between 8pm and 6am.
Sliproads in both directions will be closed between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 6 (Worcester) from tonight (Monday) until Sunday (March 19).
The M42 Junction 1 exit sliproad on the northbound carriageway will also be shut from 10pm to 6am from tonight (Monday) to Sunday (March 19).
The closures are taking place while work is carried out by Highways England on the carriageways.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted throughout.
