DROITWICH CVS received an early Christmas present after being given a more than £1,500 cash boost to continue its coffee mates project into the New Year.
The cash boost was presented to them by Waitrose and Partners Droitwich at the final coffee mates of the year, which had a festive theme.
The Christmas coffee mates featured sing-a-long carols, a raffle and mince pies.
‘Coffee Mates’ was launched in July and takes place on the second Wednesday of every month between 2pm and 4pm at the old library centre.
The free event aims to offer a safe space for people to enjoy a warm drink, chat with other members of the community and find out more information about the town.
Cakes and other treats will also be available.
