Cash stolen from Droitwich house by man pretending to be an electrician

A MAN pretending to be an electrician stole cash from a house in Droitwich.

At around 10.30am on Wednesday (January 4), a man called to a house on Stalls Farm Road purporting to ‘check the electrics’.

He entered a room but would not allow the householder to follow him.

He then said he was going for a screwdriver however never came back and it was found a quantity of cash had been stolen.




The suspect is described as a 40-year-old, tall, white male with a northern accent and wearing a yellow Jacket, he also stated he came from Bromsgrove.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call the police 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
