Celebrated Formula One ace Damon Hill OBE heading to Droitwich

Droitwich Editorial 21st May, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

CELEBRATED Formula One star Damon Hill OBE will make an exclusive appearance at Droitwich’s Chateau Impney on June 3 for an evening of conversation and fine dining.

The prestigious event is part of the hotel’s mission to make Droitwich the ‘motorsport capital of the Midlands’.

Damon will visit the Chateau for one night only and will share stories from his illustrious 20-year career during the black tie dinner.

Fans will have the opportunity to take part in a relaxed Q&A session, and see the BRM P48 that Damon’s father Graham Hill competed in during the 1961 Intercontinental Series – one of only four cars of its kind in the world today.

Damon Hill is still the only son of an F1 World Champion to go on to claim the title himself.

Ben Elder, the Chateau’s general manager said: “It’s sure to be an unforgettable evening for any F1 fan, whether they were captivated by Damon’s skill on the track in the 1990s or have shared his passion as part of the Sky F1 team in recent years.”

Tickets, which include a three-course dinner, are £75 per person and are available at www.chateau-impney.com/gift-vouchers or by calling 01905 774411.
