PUPILS and staff at Chawson First School had an amazing day celebrating the Royal Wedding.
It began with a whole school assembly where everyone attended dressed as wedding guests.
Children had a creative morning enjoying a range of Royal Wedding based activities.
During the afternoon, the whole school gathered on the field to sing the National Anthem and enjoyed a wedding party which included a DJ and a lot of dancing.
Year three held a wedding cake design competition which was won by Sam Franks.
Teaching assistant Sarah O’Hara took Sam’s winning design and made the cake he had created.
