YOUNGSTERS in Reception at Chawson First School celebrated ‘No Pens Day’ and the end of their topic on colour by having a ‘colour party’.
The children came to school dressed in bright colours and the classes joined together to dance with ‘colour sticks’ they had made.
They then tasted rainbow jelly and different flavours of squash.
The children then sang colour-themed songs.
One pupil, Robbie, said: “It was really good.”
Layla added: “I liked finding out what colour the jelly was when I mixed it altogether.
“It was a fun end to our colourful topic.”
