THE OPERATORS of Droitwich Charter Market have created a quirky TikTok video to promote the event which returns to its usual slot in the town today.
Bluebell Events launched the Charter Market on April 21 and since then it has taken place in Victoria Square every Friday between 9am and 4pm.
To raise the awareness of the market, run by Chloe Ford and Dave Biddle from Bluebell Events, the video was created to showcase a few of the traders and using the classic Starship song ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now’.
The song is perfect for the video as it contains the lyrics ‘We will build this thing together’ – a reference to the owners and town council’s plea for residents to support and use the market.
Droitwich Charter Market boasts a variety of traders offering a range of gifts, including fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread and cakes, meat, fashion and clothing, records and CDs, wax melts, pet foods and more.
The first one back on April 21 when it returned to the town after four years was officially opened by then Mayor, Coun George Duffy and Town Crier Edgar Harwood.
