THE WOMEN from SPArkles WI put their tastebuds to the test as they tried to make the right matches at a cheese and wine evening.
Hosted by Park’s Café in Victoria Square the members of the WI’s Supper Club sipped wine and nibbled cheese to try and ascertain which one went with which.
At the end of the evening the suggested matches were revealed.
SPArkles President Helen Starks said: “The Supper Club has been formed so we can experience exciting cuisines, different venues and of course it’s a good social event.
“The cheese and wine evening was great fun and informative too – I think a lot of cheese-fuelled dreams were had that night.”
March saw the Supper Club attend Bullocks café with the Gardeners’ Arms next on the list.
