Christian Eriksen collapse prompts more than 30 members of Droitwich Dolphins swimming club to learn life-saving skills

MEMBERS of Droitwich Dolphins Swimming Club gave completed the UK Coaching Sudden Cardiac Arrest online training after Danish football star Christian Eriksen collapsed at Euro 2020.

Eriksen needed life-saving treatment during the Finland match and has since made a recovery.

The incident prompted the club to take their own step towards knowing what to do in that sort of health emergency and more than 30 members have learnt how to use a defibrillator and other techniques until help arrives.

The club, which offers swimming to children and adults, is based at Droitwich Leisure Centre.
