THERE will be plenty of clowning around at Droitwich’s Lido Park this month when circus fun and puppet shows return, writes Cameron Mowat.
Circus Skills Workshops take place between 11am and 3pm on August 6 and will offer feather balancing, plate-spinning juggling, low tightrope and more.
Children will have an amazing opportunity to learn something new whilst having fun.
Clive Chandler’s World Famous Punch and Judy show will be back by popular demand on August 21 with three 30-minute shows near the bandstand at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
The events have been organised by Wychavon District Council.
Coun Emma Stokes, Wychavon’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment and Street Scene, said “Events like these are a positive and fun way to bring the community together throughout the summer holidays and I think children and families should really take advantage of what’s on offer.
“I urge anyone in Wychavon to go to their local park and join in the fun.”
