Classes launched by Fortis to help Droitwich residents get fit for summer

Droitwich Editorial 8th May, 2018   0

DROITWICH residents looking to get fit for summer can go along to exercise sessions being held in the town.

On Mondays from 6pm to 7pm at Chawson Barn there is yoga and personal training sessions take place between 7.30pm and 8.15pm on Tuesdays at Westlands Community Hall.

Also at the hall is Clubbercise on Wednesdays from 10am to 11am and Zumba from 6.30pm to 7.15pm, also on Wednesdays.

The sessions have been organised by Fortis Living.

Caroline Winnall, health and wellbeing co-ordinator at Fortis, said: “Thanks to the success of the Get Wychavon Active, we are delighted to be able to offer a similar programme to Droitwich residents.”

As Fortis has funded the project, the classes are subsidised and cost just £2 per person per session.

Each one has been designed and will be delivered by qualified instructors.

No booking is needed but people are urged to take along a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothing.

Call Caroline on 01905 670258 for more information.
