A SPECIAL coffee morning is being held in Droitwich to raise funds for the town’s transport scheme.
The event at the Old Library Centre on Ombersley Street East from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday (May 9) has been organised by Droitwich Spa Older People’s Forum and the Droitwich Spa Community Transport Scheme.
There will be tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits for £2.50, as well as a raffle.
Jill Edwards, of the forum, said: “Many residents are unable to use public transport and rely on this voluntary transport service, the event will raise much needed funds for service.”
