PEOPLE have rallied to support Wychbold Junior’s by raising much-needed cash after the football clubs goals were vandalised earlier this month.
On Sunday, June 18 shocked club members found the net on the clubs 11 aside goals had been burnt, while the cross bar was broken in half on the nine aside goal.
It was estimated the damage would cost the club around £500 and left local youngsters unable to play matches.
A justgiving page was set up and within a week over £2,000 was raised to help the club back on its feet.
A spokesperson for the club thanked those who donated for their amazing support for the boys.
