Convicted Droitwich man wanted by police after breaching bail

POLICE are hunting a Droitwich man who has been convicted with theft and has breached his bail conditions.

Ricky John Brooks, 32, was in court on December 16 after stealing from a store in the town.

He was given conditional bail until his next appearance at Worcester Crown Court next Friday (January 16), when he will be sentenced.

As part of his bail conditions, he was banned from entering any premises in Droitwich Town Centre.

But, on December 30, Brooks breached those instructions by entering Peacocks in St Andrews Square and now officers want to speak to him about it.

Det Insp Stuart Murphy, of Worcester proactive CID, appealed for anyone who knew of his whereabouts to call the Worcester duty inspector on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

And he warned residents not to approach Brooks if they find him.

“He has been known to frequent Droitwich, Malvern and Bromsgrove but he may have returned to Coventry.

“If anyone knows of his whereabouts, we would ask them to please get in touch.”
