Droitwich Editorial 10th Jun, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THERE is now just one week to go to Droitwich’s first ever beer and cider festival in Vines Park.

The event has been organised by Simon Berry from the Gardeners Arms’ and 4Shires Festivals and it is supported by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).

It will coincide with the start of the Droitwich Food and Drink Festival and takes place from 4pm on Saturday (June 20) to 10.30pm and between 11am and 10.30pm next Sunday (June 21).

On offer will be 15 hand-pulled ales and 12 ciders – five of which are new this month.

They include four from Henry Weston. Among the beers will be an award-winning SIBA Gold winner and Malvern Hills Brewery’s new ale Radar Love.

There will also be 15 music acts taking to the stage in Vines Park as part of the ‘music and beer weekend’, including The Reflections, Haunted Souls, Lady and the Sax, Nth Cave Band and Skabucks who headline on the Saturday evening.

Admission is £3 for the festival Visit www.4shires.events for more information.
