THE COUNTDOWN has started for Droitwich Spa’s annual Christmas Light Switch On outside St Richard’s House next Saturday, November 26.
From 12pm there will be Droitwich Lions Club’s Santa’s Grotto, the Heritage App will be launched at St Richards House and there will be the Farmers’ Market with seasonal stalls, a funfair, a Community Advent Celebration at St Andrews Church and performances from the Salvation Army Band and I-Sing Choir in Victoria Square.
Parking will be free in Wychavon District Council’s pay and display car parks from 12pm and the big countdown to the switching on of the lights will be led by Mayor, Coun George Duffy, at 6pm.
