THERE will be a right royal celebration at Droitwich Lido Park on Sunday, May 7, to celebrate the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The Community Coronation Celebration, organised by Droitwich Spa Town Council and Wychavon District Council, will take place between noon and 5pm at the park’s bandstand.
The Salvation Army Brass Band will perform from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and there will be dance performances from ENTW9 at 12.30pm and SB Dance Works at 1.30pm.
Entertainer Ronnie Crackers will entertain younger Spatans and there will be a face-painting stall between 2pm and 4pm.
Ahead of the ‘Big Help Out’ taking place across the country on Monday, a number of charity and community groups will be showcasing what they do and give people the chance to see and experience their voluntary work.
Organisers are urging people to ‘take along a picnic blanket and enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere’.
