County Council bringing resident roadshow to Droitwich Salt Fest

Droitwich Editorial 1st Sep, 2022   0

WORCESTERSHIRE County Council will hold two of its resident roadshows in Bromsgrove and Droitwich.

The first will be at Salt Fest between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, September 3, with the second at Bromsgrove Market during the same times next Saturday, September 10.

Each year the county council visits all six Worcestershire districts, canvassing residents’ views on services provided by the authority and asking about how they feel living there.

County councillors and expert officers will be on hand to answer any questions.

Resident roadshows have been held by the county council since 2009 and representatives have had conversations with more than 10,000 people across the county.

The themes for this year’s roadshow include the councils’ plan for Worcestershire, the budget, major infrastructure and improvement schemes and how to keep active and well later in life.

Those unable to make the face-to-face roadshows can have their say on this year’s themes digitally and anonymously.
