Crime writer Carla to shed light on her work when she gives talk in Droitwich

LEADING local crime writer Carla Kovach will give a talk at Droitwich’s Old Library Centre at 7.30pm next Wednesday, October 19.

During the presentation Carla, who is a USA Today best-selling author, will shed light on her work.

Her most ambitious and popular books to date are the Detective Inspector Gina Harte series which has been number one in various countries in iBooks and on Amazon.

Her latest novel in this series, One Girl Missing, published in August is billed as ‘fast paced, addictive and totally gripping’.




The first book in the series ‘The Next Girl’ was soon followed by ‘Her Final Hour’ and then ‘Her Pretty Bones’.

In addition to her novels, Carla has written successful stage and screenplays.


Carla is no stranger to the town, appearing in Droitwich ArtsFest in both 2017 and 2018, reading in the open air in St Andrews Square.

And Carla has directed a play at Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre.

This event has been organised by Droitwich Arts Network.

The group’s chair Helen Karakashian, said “We are delighted Carla has agreed to give a talk about her books and answer questions about her approach to writing fiction.

“At Droitwich Arts Network we are always keen to embrace all forms of the arts including written works.”

Everyone is welcome to the event and Carla will be delighted to sign copies of her book on the evening.

Parking is available in the Covercroft Car Park.
