CHILDREN and staff at Westacre Middle School came together last Friday (July 15) to do a full day of creative and fun activities to celebrate this year’s forthcoming Olympic games in Rio, writes Charlotte Albutt.
‘Dabble day’ brought years five, six and seven together for art and design technology games.
Activities included cooking Olympic ringed biscuits, dancing to carnival music, preforming rhythmic gymnastics, using a variety of mediums to create fantastic art work, compute to create Olympic games and many more.
The young Olympians gave the event the thumbs up with plenty of positive feedback.

Westacre art teacher Gemma Morgan said: “Thanks to the staff at Westacre, who imparted their skills into the children.”
