ALMOST 50 students at Droitwich Spa High School will be showcasing their dancing skills in the school theatre tomorrow night (Wednesday).
The students, from years eight to 12, will be presenting work they have been preparing in lessons, in their own time, in extra-curricular clubs and in preparation for their GCSE in dance.
A wide variety of styles will be featured from tap to ballet to street and there will be two large group pieces which have been choreographed by year 12 students Maddie Henn and Kara Pugh.
There will also be a stunning piece of contemporary dance by year ten students Mia Bowen, Bethany Quinn, Grace Rogers and Eleanor Drobeck-Jenks.
Becky Dudman, teacher of dance, said: “It should be a fantastic show.
“The students have worked really hard to choreograph and rehearse their dances over the last term and there are some really talented pupils involved.
“It has been really helpful to have two year 12 students, Maddie Henn and Kara Pugh on board to assist me with the organisation of the show and they have done a great job with the younger students.
“I am really proud of all students involved and am looking forward to seeing them perform.”
The show starts at 7pm and tickets are £2. They are available from reception or on the door.
