A POPULAR disco for adults with learning disabilities is starting in Droitwich.
Discobility, hosted by care providers VIP Support, will take place every third Thursday of the month at The Pillar of Salt pub on Celvestune Way, Droitwich with the first event being held on Thursday, August 17.
The event on August 17 will focus on a summer theme and there are fancy dress parties and a Christmas special disco planned for later in the year.
Karaoke and the disco are the main attractions of the event and visitors can also play games and win prizes. A free snack buffet is also provided.
Joshua Matheson, The Pillar of Salt, general manager said: “I believe its a great event to hold as it really does provide the ‘night out’ experience in the safest possible manner for adults with both physical and learning disabilities.
“They really enjoy themselves and engage with others they might not normally see.”
Discobility events are also hosted in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Tickets are £8. Carers go free.
