THERE WILL be disruption at Droitwich’s main car park while essential works are carried out on it.
The area outside Waitrose, opposite Vines Park, will be resurfaced between next Friday, September 19, to September 25.
Different parts of the car park will be closed during the works but Wychavon District Council bosses say they will ensure there is still adequate parking available.
They added there were a number of other car parks still available in the town if needed.
The work will see pot holes filled in and the surface readied for the cold winter months.
Work will not be carried out on the weekend days (September 22 and 23) and will be usable to customers.
Coun Lynne Duffy, Wuchavon’s deputy leader, said “This car park resurfacing is part of a programme of works to improve the surfaces and this will ensure they’re safe and fit for purpose.”
