STUDENTS from Dodderhill School had fun in the great outdoors when they took part in a den-building session.
The year three and four girls built their own structures in the Forest School which is now well established having been there for almost seven years.
Other outdoor activities in Forest School include tree-climbing, hot chocolate and marshmallows around the camp fire and learning about nature.
Dodderhill headmistress Cate Mawston said it was like going into a secret wood.
“It’s a fantastic environment and where a lot of the best learning takes place.
“The girls love spending time there and acquire a lot of important skills, including being brave and the importance of teamwork.”
