Driver arrested on the M5 near Droitwich for drug-driving and having no licence

A DRIVER was arrested on the M5 near Droitwich for drug-driving, theft and having no licence.

An Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) check flagged up several issues on the Police National Computer and there was a warrant out for the driver’s arrest.

The was stop was made by officers from Worcestershire’s Operational Policing Unit (OPU) at Junction 5.

And after being arrested the man was taken into police custody.
