A DRIVER was stopped by police after texting at the wheel on the M5 between Worcester and Droitwich.
Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit saw the man in the Volkswagen sending the message while driving along the northbound carriageway from Junction 6 to 5 earlier this afternoon.
He has now been reported for the offence.
Motorists caught on their mobile phones while driving can face fines of up to £200 and six penalty points on their licence.
