THIS is the moment Droitwich’s 2516 Air Cadets Squadron played a central role in the town’s beacon lighting last Thursday evening in Vines Park.
The group also performed at the Lido Park bandstand as part of Saturday’s Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
A spokesperson for the squadron told of his pride in the young people and – as they mostly perform in poignant ceremonies, such as Remembrance Sunday – it was great to see them receive rapturous applause.
