A DROITWICH accountant has become a finalist in Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards, writes Arun Mohammed.
Sam Batkin, 22, from Ormerod Rutter, is hoping to win big at this year’s final in the ‘Apprentice Ambassador of the Year’ category on Thursday, November 16.
Colleagues nominated Sam for a variety of reasons including ‘his passion for mentoring and training’ and ‘his enthusiasm for Apprenticeships at the company’.
Sam said: “Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.
“It feels really good to be acknowledged for my work and win or lose I will continue to make sure our apprentices are given the right training to enable them to succeed.”
Marketing Manager, Robin Williams added: “Sam is now progressing up the ranks and when he isn’t helping our apprentices he’s the first to help spread the word about our apprenticeship scheme.”
