A SPECIAL coffee morning will be held on Tuesday, May 15, in Droitwich to raise funds a much-valued transport service.
Organised by the Droitwich Spa Area Forum for Older People, the event at the Old Library Centre on Ombersley Road will raise money to sponsor a band in the park as well as the Droitwich Community Transport Service.
Jill Edwards, from the forum, said: “Many less abled residents rely on the service for their medical and social journeys and the forum has for several years proudly sponsored the summer brass band concert in the Lido Park.
“There will also be a sales table and a raffle, so donations and items will be gratefully received.”
Tea and coffee will be served from 10am to 12noon costing £2.50 per person.
