A DROITWICH Spa artist is set to debut a selection of new original paintings at this year’s Salt Fest.
Rosie Philpott, famous for her wonky pictures of Droitwich Spa and the surrounding area, will have a stall in Vines Park.
Rosie said: “I know a lot of people, like myself, enjoy the walk along the canal and a drink or meal at the pub.
“You may be able to see a couple of familiar faces in the scene, including the ‘boy on the bike’ who appears in all my Droitwich paintings.”
The artist has released three new paintings, including ‘Yarn Bombing’, a quirky take on Victoria Square, ‘The Night Watch’, a mystical representation of Broadway Tower and ‘The Eagle and Sun’ – a pub famous for its carvery on the Hanbury Road.
Rosie added: “I love capturing these familiar things I know will resonate with many locals.”
This weekend will also be a chance to purchase the last ever limited-edition print of ‘Final Furlong’ as the print run has reached its final number of 15.
Salt Fest Runs from Friday to Sunday, September 2 to 4.
