Droitwich beauty therapists join forces to create special lockdown message for all their clients

Droitwich Editorial 6th May, 2020   0

DROITWICH’S beauty therapists have joined forces to convey a message to their clients that they are missing them during lockdown and to tell them to stay safe.

The project was the brainchild of Rachel Harrison who heard about other salon owners in another town who created a similar collage, based on the Don’t Rush Challenge.

The Don’t Rush challenge centres around people dressed in their ‘home attire’ creating their own parts of a bigger picture.

So Rachel, along with Adele Griffin, Wendy Simmons, Sarah Casey, Lara Smith, Patrycia Jedrzejczyk, Kylie Kelly, Katie Price, Lauren Guttridge and Bek Walton each held up a flash card to put across their part of a joint message.

It read: “We miss our clients. But please do your bit and help everyone by staying home and take care.”

It ends with the post-lockdown message: “Your beauty therapist will be waiting for you.”

Rachel said: “I got all the pictures and put them together – I really enjoyed it, it was good fun and nice to see us all joining forces.

“People always assume that because we own different salons we have some kind of rivalry but, in reality, we all want our clients to stay safe.

“There’s enough clients in Droitwich for all of us as everyone wants something different in a therapist.

“We want them all to know we are thinking of them and want them to stay safe and not rush back to their local salon until it is absolutely safe to do so.”
