DROITWICH’S Dorset House care home will be kicking off the summer with an open day garden party on Friday, June 30.
The two-hour event will get under way at 2pm and will allow local people to enjoy free refreshments in the care homes garden.
The garden party will be part of care home open week, a national event that welcomes members of the local community to gain a greater understanding of what it’s like living in a care home.
The event is free to attend however people will need to confirm they are attending before the open day.
