A DROITWICH dog charity is appealing for kind-hearted people who can offer short and medium term fostering for rescued dogs.

Jordan Bear Charity, which provides rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing for abandoned and abused greyhounds, lurchers and street dogs, is currently full due to a busy few weeks.

The charity is looking for individuals or families, with suitable accommodation, who would be prepared to take in a rescue dog and foster it until a permanent home could be found.

‘Jordan Bear’ would provide all the required food, bedding, support, veterinary care, with the fosterer only being required to provide safe, warm accommodation, patience, understanding, day to day care, exercise and love.

A seven-month-old, black and white Jack Russell cross is also currently available for immediate re-homing.

Susan Boone, from Jordan Bear Charity, said: “This lovely young lady has a mixed coat, is clean and dry in the house, walks well on the lead, is fully inoculated, deflead and dewormed.

“She is a very loving, playful, dog and cat-friendly girl that would make an ideal companion for a young, active family.

“She is an intelligent dog, eager to please, who will train quite easily to respond to commands.”
