A UK-based ensemble specialising in music from the baroque era will take to the stage at Droitwich Methodist Church next Saturday (January 16).
The Grand Tour by Passacaglia starts at 3pm and is the first event of the year in Droitwich Concert Club’s annual programme.
Music featured is from the 18th century European capitals by composers, including Bach, Telemann, Vivaldi and Rameau. Since their formation in the early 1990s Passacaglia has played in venues worldwide, broadcast live many times and recorded series of CDs for Linn records, Naxos and more recently for their own in-house BCR record label.
