A WARNING has been issued to drivers in Droitwich after reports of opportunist thieves trying car door handles around the town.
Speaking at the latest Droitwich Town Council meeting last night, Sgt Sarah Kent urged people to ensure they locked their cars when they left them and not to leave items on display.
She added it was rare for opportunist thieves to break windows unless there was something they could see of value in the vehicle.
Instead she said they would try the door handles and target the ones which have been left unlocked.
