A FORMER Droitwich Spa High School Student has won two business awards in less than 24 hours.
Dominic Kristy, 26, owner of Evolved Foods, won both Epic Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Health Hero and Young Innovator of the Year Award on September 15 and 16.
Dominic said: “I was not expecting to win either award!
“To win one felt great, but to win both was amazing.
“My aim is to supply healthy snack options for local organisations to provide for their staff, this may be in canteens or vending machines- either way, I just hope to have some impact on the health of the local communities and businesses we serve.”
Evolved Foods is a vegan-friendly natural freeze-dried fruit alternative for baking, smoothies and toppings.
Both awards recognised the achievements of young entrepreneurs across the country.
Natalie Waters, Droitwich Spa High School Headteacher, said: “We are delighted- but not surprised to hear that one of our former students, Dominic Kristy, has won two national awards this year.
“Dominic always showed great promise at school, both in his academic work and in his ability to think creatively and solve problems.
“We look forward to hearing of his ongoing success.”
